Abstract
Voting in the UN General Assembly is the most important factor in showing the friendliness-hostility of the countries of the world towards each other. The data on votes in the UN General Assembly for 2024 are analyzed, a matrix of similarity of countries' votes is compiled on the basis of the E. Voeten and A. Lijphart coherence index improved by the authors. The map of consistency of positions of the world's countries with Russia on voting in the UNGA was drawn up, clusters of support depending on the consistency of positions with Russia and the USA were revealed, the average consistency of voting in the UNGA on the leading integration associations in relation to some countries of the world (Russia, China, France, Germany, India, Ukraine, the USA) was presented. The most similar in voting countries with Russia's position and the most different ones are identified. It is proved that a number of Russia's allies, including members of the CSTO and the SCO, tend to vote more similarly to China and India than to Russia. Japan, Ukraine and Georgia vote consolidated with the EU countries, but the similarity of their votes with the US is not so great. The presented quantitative results can be used to analyze international coalitions, analyze bilateral relations between countries, and identify problems of international integration processes.
