Geography, Geopolitics, pan-Germanism: at the Origins of German’s Charisma
In the article the historical, philosophical and political consciousness in Germany in the second half of the XIX and first part of the XX century are regarded. The author analyses the processes of geography determinism transformation into geopolitics (in the F. Ratsel’s studies), formation of the ideology, pan-Germanism movements, and new German mentality likewise their relation to national-socialism.
