The Phenomenon of Spiritualityin a Globalizing Society

Abstract
The paper presents social and philosophical understanding of the nature of spirituality, which is considered as a system of stable relations of man and society, as a way to arrangement of existence of value origin in the content of universal existence. In its role as universal social values and an indispensable element of social and cultural life, spirituality is analyzed in the context of social transformations taking place in the global community. Its religious and secular interpretations, methodology and effectiveness in the knowledge of two types of society: consumption and creation in today's globalization are studied.
