Polish Diaspora in Siberia and Its Historiographer

Abstract
The article deals with life and work of Irkutsk State University Professor B. S. Shostakovich being an outstanding Siberian scientist studying Polish Diaspora, Slavist, and researcher of history of Central and South-East European countries, and international relations history. The core of his research is Polish exile to Siberia in the XIX century comprising more than 260 papers.
