The article describes the experience of building an enterprise information system of a university within the framework of a system approach using 1C:Predpriyatie technology. The strategy of development of university electronic communication on the basis of ERP systems is formulated. The software products solving the problem of automation of managing T and E activity at the university are analyzed. The choice of 1C:Predpriyatie technological platform as the leading technology for building enterprise information system is substantiated. When arranging the enterprise communication environment of the university advantages and disadvantages of the 1C:Predpriyatie platform were identified. The possibilities and peculiarities of the modern “1C:Universitet” software product for all round automation of business processes at the university are considered. The limitations of the hardware and software of “1C:Universitet” system making it difficult to introduce it into university activities are revealed. The authors propose an original concept of an open web-outline, which allows to expand nominal functions of the given information technology and set a strategic model for the development of all components of the enterprise system. An example of building an open web-outline in the form of an operator account and an applicant account within the framework of electronic communication development of the university admission process at Irkutsk State University is given. Development and introduction of the web-outline in the process of electronic communication development during university admission process resulted in formulating conceptual advantages.
