Novosibirsk: Back Lessons of the Russian Revolution

Abstract
The history of Novosibirsk (until 1926 – Nikolayevsk) is analyzed. Early years of its development are described. The fate of some architectural structures in the city center is considered. Main attention is paid to the development of the ideas of contemporaries and historians concerning moral and ethical aspects of the history. The purpose of the article is to show new trends in the study of artifacts.
