Patriotism and Identity in Contemporary Russian Films

Abstract
The article consideres the challenges and problems of patriotism and identity development in contemporary Russian films. Contradictions between the state politics on the development of patriotic rhetoric and increase of the positive identity of citizens and the real expectations of the audience, acceptance and rejection of ideological schemes and everyday life are shown.
