Abstract

Paradigm as a phenomenon and Modernity paradigm in particular, as the most complex phenomenon of the global civilization, are recognized. Fundamental nature of the concept manifests itself in the form and process which are out of one’s depth. But each and every one has been able to exist without recognizing its essence and the nature of the universe. Modern world is the world of Modernity whether people and nations know and agree with it or not and picture it to themselves the other way. Modernity is the first conscientious social and political project of mankind, and it is a historical project. It is the project having its boundaries, forms, structure, and culture, but without any purpose or reason, human at least. The attempts to turn it to one’s advantage are pointless, even if it is entire civilization’s pursuit. Modernity is ongoing efforts of mankind to build suitable (or proper) universe model comprising culture, economics, politics and human being. And these efforts are the result of implementation of various ideologies being virtual constructs and creative technologies. Ideologies put on a mask of natural processes, pretend to be religious doctrines, take the form of scientific projects. Being virtual cognitive constructs they seize people’s consciousness dooming them to participating, suffering, and dying during political cataclysms. But the main purpose of political ideologies is to seize the state since in fact it is a state that enables to implement political projects and pipe dreams. And sometimes the seizure becomes total and turns the state itself into a political project, and its citizens into abstract individuals being infinitely distant and free from their real problems.
