Abstract
Feminization of migration flows has become a characteristic feature of contemporary migration from Central Asia to Russia. This phenomenon substantiated by economic reasons, makes significant adjustments to life of migrant communities, and those who remained at home. Known transformations are associated with a woman as a key figure in the traditional system of values of Islamic culture, and in the contemporary economic strategy of the bulk of population of Central Asia.
