Financial Crisis of 1998 and Its Influence on the Programmes of Political Parties in Russia

Abstract
The article analyses the programmes, developed by Russian influential political parties, oriented towards overcoming the impact of the financial crisis of 1998. In the author's opinion, the default of 1998 predetermined the need to find some alternative model of national economic development. The leading political parties brought forward their concrete proposals to pull Russia out of the economic crisis.
