Abstract
The article examines the architectural concepts of religious objects: the ceremonial yurt Moghol Urasa of Sakha (Yakuts), representing the image of heaven, and the Chinese complex “Temple of Heaven” in Beijing. The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that in our difficult age, when the world is gripped by cataclysms, many peoples, including the population of the Russian Far East, are increasingly concerned about the fate of their territories. Therefore, in order to dispel it, it is necessary to establish business, cultural, scientific, economic, and friendly contacts with neighbors. For example, based on common spiritual and cultural reference points, one of which may be the history of the Chinese Temple of Heaven complex and the Yakut Kumys ritual complex with the temple of heaven Moghol Urasa. The aim of the work is to find similarities in both constructive and semiotic terms of both objects and to explain them. The following are considered: the history of the appearance of objects; their forms and elements; functions are comprehended in accordance with religious concepts. The structure of the study consists of substantiating the place and time of the objects' appearance; comparisons of the main constructs and explanations of the conceptual similarities of the complexes. Beijing was formerly called “Ji” and was the capital of the Yan Zhou kingdom, where the Zhou people set up a place of prayer for the asking a harvest from the Sky according to the traditions of their ancestors, the Zhong and Di nomads. It is concluded that the ancestors of the Zhous and Sakha (Yakuts) were Huns and believed in Tengri, this position explains the conceptual similarities of the objects considered.
