Abstract
The influence of regional political culture on the value attitudes of student youth is substantiated. A review of Russian publications from recent years demonstrates the interdependence between such phenomena as political culture, political socialization, civic consciousness, and values. This study, based on data from an interregional sociological survey and employing a politicalpsychological approach and discourse analysis, contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon of political culture as a factor in shaping the value attitudes of student youth, using the example of two regions of the Siberian Federal District – the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass and the Republic of Tyva. The methodological basis is the work of R. Putnam, allowing us to consider the value attitudes of young people as a result of the influence of historical and social parameters of regional development on political culture. When analyzing the sociological survey data, indicators such as region, place of study, religious affiliation, and nationality were taken into account. The first part of the study focused on identifying the significance of traditional values, while the second assessed the place of civic-patriotic values among life values. The findings demonstrate a generally positive trend in respondents' assessments of the importance of traditional values, with a clear predominance of such assessments when factors such as religious and national affiliation overlap. A tendency to combine civic-patriotic values with values of achieving personal well-being in the system of life attitudes was identified, which simultaneously complicates the process of further forecasting the ideological foundations of youth and demonstrates an integrative format for perceiving current events within the framework of the established political culture.
