Abstract
The article is devoted to the specifics of the approach of the leading Russian parties to the assessment and design of international relations, as well as the place of the PRC in their foreign policy strategies in comparison with the countries of the West and the CIS. The empirical basis of the study was the programs and election platforms of the parties “United Russia,” the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Liberal Democratic Party, “Fair Russia” for the period 2011–2021, as well as public statements by their official representatives. Most parliamentary parties in Russia express a political-realistic approach to the interpretation of international relations. To one degree or another, all these parties express anti-Western positions in public space. As relations with the West worsen, Russia's parliamentary parties are increasingly favorable in their assessment of cooperation with China. At the same time, ideology and position in the party system have a significant impact on the nature of their foreign policy strategies.
