Psychosomatic Medicine in the Context of Theological Reflection

Author(s)
D. S. Damte
Abstract
The article provides a comparative analysis of the notions of man, illness, health and treatment in psychosomatic medicine and in theological anthropology. This topic seems relevant in the context of exploring a wide range of issues related to the dialogue between theology and modern human sciences. Various materials show similarities between the anthropological approaches presented in the works of psychosomatic theorists and in theological anthropology, which makes possible an interaction between them that expands and deepens knowledge about human beings, their problems and possible ways of solving them.
