Post-Secular Paradigm as a Theoretical and Methodological Basis for the Interrelationship between Religious and Secular Public Organizations

Abstract

The article addresses a set of problems arising in the process of the analysis of development perspectives of interrelations between religious and secular public organizations in the context of building a modern type of civil society. At least three issues are of interest in particular. The first one concerns the question what theoretical and methodological model is capable of creating conditions for partnerships between secular and religious oriented communities. The second issue is deals with revealing possible socio-anthropological aspects of the subject field of such interrelation. And the third issue is concerned with what sociocultural qualities are in high-demand for a constructive dialogue between secular and religious oriented citizens. The meaning and significance of the concept of post-secularism (J. Habermas, S. Khoruzhy, K. Stoeckl, A. Roccucci) is that it acts as a theoretical and methodological approach, aiming at deconstructing the ideas that laid the ground for “the Modern Constitution” (according to Bruno Latour) and searching for meanings that facilitate integrating all of the entities capable of communication and building relationships in the medium- and long-term perspectives of responsible development.
