Abstract

China's Belt and Road Initiative, announced in 2013, is one of the largest integration projects of the 21st century. This initiative aims to improve the existing and create new trade routes, transport and economic corridors linking the countries of Central Asia, Europe and Africa. There are many different opinions regarding “One Belt One Road”. It forced the scientific community around the world to reconsider the world situation. In this article, the authors attempted to systematize and analyze the views of Chinese scientists regarding the Belt and Road Initiative, and to reveal and interpret the goals of this initiative as well.
