Mausoleum as a Symbol of Inter-Confessional Consent

Author(s)
N. S. Konoplev, V. S. Kuznetsova
Abstract

The posthumous fate of V. I. Lenin has been considered in the context of his tomb – the Mausoleum. The Leader’s lifetime atheism, meaningfully correlated with the majestic Mausoleum, opens up new spiritual perspectives. They boil down to the fact that, in conditions of growing secularization, atheism, denying God, provides an obvious rise in spirituality coming into contact with it. The result is introducing each of us to the “The Whole of the Universe” (F. M. Dostoevsky) as the highest level of the Universal Good, or Cosmic Harmony.
