Author(s)
N. S. Konoplev
Abstract

The content of illusions displaying themselves at sensuous and rational levels has been considered. Their place in the development of religion has been identified. The religion has been shown to be a fantastic, illusory reflection of reality, that delineates utopia and shows the way to overcome them.
