The article considers the continuity of the philosophical ideas of Abu Mansur al-Maturidi and the Kazakh thinkers in the late XIX and early XX centuries. Particular attention is paid to the identification of ideological commonness in the understanding of the basic canons of Islamic dogma. The teachings of Abu Mansur al-Maturidi are fundamental in the development of the theological, spiritual, and philosophical views of the Turkic peoples, from the time they arose until today. The roots of the worldviews of Turkic scholars on morality and religion are in harmony with and closely related to the Hanafi-Maturidi teachings. The author argues that the source of spiritual knowledge of Kazakh thinkers is the teachings of Abu Mansur al-Maturidi, his view on the role of revelation and reason in Islam in particular.
