Abstract
The presented article contains the data of the regional scientific conference "Russian Government regional policy and Siberian deportation in XVIII–XX centuries: further research objectives and perspectives" held in the Irkutsk State University in December in 2009. The general conclusions maid up: to study in complex the origins and function of the regional penal jurisdictions, Russian Government protective policy, political and criminal deportation into Siberia as correlated phenomena.
