Abstract
The article analyzes state-legal and integration development of the member-nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Special attention is paid to the integration process within the CIS, ethnic and political conflicts in the former Soviet Union zone. The author overviews present-day situation in the CIS, defines possible ways of this organization’s development and their outcomes.
