Islamic Factor in Tourism Development in Egypt

Abstract
The author examines the impact of the activities of Islamist organizations on the development of tourism in Egypt. It is emphasized in particular that as tourism is significant to the economy of Egypt, the Islamist organizations actively used tourism to achieve their domestic and foreign policy objectives.
