Abstract
The article examines the development of diaspora, migration and ethnic studies in the Irkutsk CASE functioning under the ISU. The authors consider main periods of formation of interregional and interdisciplinary staff for recent 20 years, main results of the research work by the Irkutsk CASE and its prospects.
