Internal Migration and Formation of the Suburban Communities of Ulan-Ude

Abstract
Author analyzes the influence of rural-urban migration to suburban settlements of Ulan- Ude (Buryatia Republic). In the article main groups of migrants, their motivations and expectations, their relationship with local communities are considered. Moreover the role of rural-urban migration in changing social infrastructure of suburban communities and architectural landscape is considered.
