Roman and Russian Tradition of Religious Patriotism

Abstract
Roman law is the deepest tradition in political sciences and the source of political systems in the past and present. It is a complicated phenomenon comprising religious, philosophical, cultural, historical, political, and many other elements. There are many political theories and practices competing for the right to own Roman heritage. And one of them is “Moscow is the Third Rome”.
