Abstract
On the basis of the archival materials the article reveals some aspects of the activity of Pandido Khambo Lama Choinzon Dorje Iroltuev in the beginning of the liberal reforms of Russian religious policy in the early 20th century. The paper covers the key positions of the lamaist priesthood towards the issues of religious policy reformation of the imperial administration before the Russian Revolution.
