Pan-Slavism and Pan-Turkism in the Light of European Integration

Abstract

This article deals with the current geopolitical situation in the Eurasian region throughout the cultural and educational policies of the two leading actors – Russia and Turkey. The tendency towards educational environment clericalisation in these countries is considered as an alternative to culture secularization in Western Europe, framed to resist disintegration of traditional moral values.
