Abstract
The article presents conception of church and public activity, as well as classification of its main areas. All-Russian tendencies of interaction between Church and society are defined. The research deals with analysis of the church and public activities by the example of Krasnoyarsk territory. The article reveals the potential of the Church for dealing with social problems in the region.
