The English Historiography of Great Britain's Attempts to Join the EEC

Abstract
The article deals with the issue of Great Britain's accession to the EEC. The author presents a review of English literature on this problem and analyses British scholars' approaches to assessing challenges caused by diverging positions of Britain's political elites on European integration that country faced during accession process.
