Regional Labour Market Differentiation and Quality of Life in Russian Center and Frontier Regions

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of quality of employment in different regions of the Russian Federation. Employing regression analysis of macro data the authors reveal the determinants of an average wage level in the region. The major hypothesis about an impact of the frontier-ness of the region on an average wage level in this region was confirmed.
