The Model of Association between the European Union and «Eastern Partnerships» Countries

Abstract
The author analyzes the models of association between the EU and neighbouring countries after the Cold War. Particular emphasis is made on the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine as an example of a new model of association elaborated by the EU member states for its eastern neighbours in the framework of the Eastern Partnership.
