The article presents classification and analysis of the characteristics of bilateral cooperation between the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Korea’s regions in the middle of the second decade of the XXI century. The links of bilateral regional projects with intergovernmental level initiatives is shown. Special emphasis is made on the status and prospects of the administrative, economic and humanitarian cooperation. The article reveals bilateral cooperation problems in humanitarian and investment spheres.
