Abstract
The article is dedicated to conceptual basis of views of Russian and English law scholar and historian Paul Gavriilovich Vinogradoff. Special attention is paid to his opinion on the most remarkable periods of Russian history of XIX century and early XX century. The article gives an idea of historian’s biography and contribution to humanities.
