Orthodox Tradition in the Axiology of Journalistic Creativity: Setting the Subject

Abstract
The paper is concerned with the value meanings of journalism. Particular attention is paid to the issue of formation of philosophical foundations of the participants of the «journalist – audience» communication process on the basis of the orthodox tradition. A survey of students’ opinion has led the author to the conclusion that there is need to extend axiological component of the educational process of future journalists that identify themselves as orthodox.
