Abstract
The article concerns the development of social and humanitarian science in Russia on the example of evolution of social and humanitarian community of Eastern Siberia. The author demonstrates this process in terms of the scientific biography of V. V. Chernykh, Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences. The paper reveals the fundamental principles of social and humanitarian sciences and defines the prospects of their development on the basis of social and philosophical approach.
