Results of Municipal Elections as a Factor of Assessment of the Local Government Activity (by the Example of Elections for Krasnoyarsk City Council in September 2013)

Abstract
On the basis of survey results, the article deals with elections for Krasnoyarsk city council, held on 8 September, 2013. It reveals the reasons of relatively low rate of candidates from the Party «Edinaya Rossia (the United Russia)», as well as low electorate activity which facilitated candidates' election win in single mandate electoral districts. Besides, the author considers the menace of delegitimization of the local government.
