The description of archival fonds of personal provenance of the Manuscript Department having documents related to Metropolitan Innocent (Veniaminov) is given. This body of sources formed within 150 years enables to specify some facts of the saint’s biography, and helps reveal peculiarity and value of his pastoral and missionary activities. Historiography materials enable to study the history of research and publication of legacy of an outstanding figure of the Russian Orthodox Church.
