Baikal Siberia in Regional Development Policy: Resources and Opportunities

Abstract

The article considers current strategies of social and economic development and analyzes regional policy pursued by federal authority. The authors conclude that for an integrated development the regions of the Baikal Siberia need to maintain sustained international relations with the regions of China, Mongolia and other Asian states.
