Abstract
The article aims to analyze the characteristics of foreign migrations of the Irkutsk region dwellers in the first decade of the XXIst c. It offers main annual indices of emigration and immigration. It provides quantitative and qualitative (educational) characteristics of migrants. It marks out total numbers as well as numbers differentiated by the near and distant abroad.
