Half a Century of Japanese Diplomacy in Oceania

Abstract
The article focuses on the activities of Japanese diplomacy with regard to the island countries of Oceania for fifty years, since 1968. Half a century of relations can be described as a mutually beneficial partnership, which had a longtime positive impact on the system of international relations in the Asia-Pacific region.
