Relevant Study on the Development of the Political Economy of Socialism

Abstract
The review of the monograph «Essays on political economy of socialism» by the Honored Scientist of the RSFSR L. S. Belayev is presented. The work considers the ways of changing the capitalist system to the socialist one and analyzes the experience of socialist construction in the USSR and China. The author identifies the causes of failures of socialism in Soviet Union andrefines economic laws and contradictions of socialism. The monograph reveals some peculiarities of socialist economy and constructs a model of economics of «mature» socialism.
