A. P. Sannikov
Development of Orthodox parish in Eastern Siberia in the XVIII century is considered. Before that time organization and order of parish state of life fell within the jurisdiction of «zemstvo» (district council). In the XVIII century active parish activity regulation began. Parishes’ borders were changed, small ones were abolished, practice of clergy appointment was introduced, vigils were limited, local authorities were brought under control.
