Abstract
The article deals with creating and teaching the academic subject aimed at studying historical and political aspects of world policy and foreign affairs with reference to foreign policy of Russia. This subject is regarded as an important factor of forming bachelor’s world outlook when studying the humanities and social sciences in a technical institute of higher education.
