Author(s)
Yu. A. Zulyar
Abstract
Modernity is ongoing efforts of western civilization to build a convenient (i. e. proper) humankind model including culture, economics, politics, and social services. These efforts are the results of implementation of various ideologies, as virtual constructs and creative technologies. Ideologies put on a mask of natural processes, disguise as religious doctrines, take the form of scientific concept statement. Being virtual constructions of thought they get hold of mass consciousness making general population take part in political cataclysms and leaving them to suffer and die. The paper is concerned with a number of basic liberalism concepts, particularly the concept of liberalism as an ideology, and property is determined as its basic construction. Such notions as market, market space, market relations, and market economy are considered in reference to each other. Liberal model of interaction between an individual and a society, with the former being superior to the latter, is described.
