The article represents a part of research “Phenomenon of Russian saintdom (theoretical and practical aspect)”. Analysis of the structure and content of the Type of Constans “Saint” within the framework of the doctrine by St. John Chrysostom on Typos enables the authors to define the vertical structure of the Type of Constans “Saint”, as well as certain concepts, which characterize the religious and philosophical concept of saintdom. Applying a typological method of Chrysostom, the authors set out the concepts, which reflect schematically the relation of vertical series of functions: God – Holy – Prophet – Righteous. This relation is realized by means of strict adherence to the method: ascetics and mystical practices developed and understood by ascetics Hesychasts. Later, that method was confirmed by a dogma on the possibility of transformation and Theosis at the Local Council in 1351.

The analysis resulted in defining proposed definition the Type of Constans: Type of Constans is a philosophical concept that refers to the ideal goal, shape and semantic orientation of the religious consciousness of an individual, the degree of ontological rootedness of a believer, a tradition adept.

The “fine structure” of the Type of Constans “Saint” and its conceptual core, is characterized by the fact that this structure is hierarchically organized forms of religious experience. The content of religious experience determines its place in the hierarchy structure, which levels differ by complexity and contain in a «compressive» form reached during the previous steps. The conceptual core of the Type of Constans “Saint” is arranged successive types of self-conscious activity, moreover, it is the ending of this specific activity, which is the theological self-identification.

This study of structures and content of the Type of Constans of man’s religious experience, in fact – forms of theology, can be based in a very few paragraphs on the results of finished works. For that reason, from the authors’ viewpoint is a long-term program for future research that allows to create a philosophical concept of the third millennium Man with regard to dynamics of his religious dimension.
