Psychological Grounds of Religious Dogmatism

Author(s)
D. V. Kanakov
Abstract
The article deals with psychological grounds of religious dogmatism based on the methodological principle of the unity between consciousness and activity. Psychological grounds of religious dogmatism determine gnoseological grounds. The principle of unity of consciousness and activity (dependence of consciousness on the activity conditions) shows that mental development of a person is determined by the activity of society, so psychological bases of dogmatism are ultimately due to social grounds.
