Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of memory as a form of academic and nonacademic representation of the past based on the experience of political history of Poland after 2000. The author analyses the specific model of perception of the past, according to which memory is controlled by the post-Communist elites of Poland using the hierarchy of emotional, civilized connections as the forms of national destiny during different historical periods.
