Abstract
The article highlights the problem of formation of the social space of new industrial cities that were built in the second half of the XXth century. In terms of the oral history documents the author tries to find the dominant values in the minds of citizens of the first generation who influenced on the formation of identity of the first builders of the Siberian cities.
