The Role of the Media in Coverage of Migration of the Japanese in Manchukuo

Abstract
Based on new archival data (newspapers, translated from Japanese into Russian by the Russian consulate employees), the article deals with the migration of Japanese in the puppet state of Manchukuo. Due to that migration flows the Japanese were aimed to solve such problems as: overpopulation in the metropolis, formation of Pan-Asiatic State. The Japanese media covered the migration processes, as well as the conditions of the resettlement program.
