State Paternalism as a Socio-Cultural Matrix of Russian Civilizational Survival

Author(s)
V. G. Fedorov
Abstract
In the context of the study, the problem of studying state paternalism as a socio-cultural core of Russian society is raised. A detailed analysis of state paternalism as a socio-cultural matrix of Russian civilization is carried out. The issue of preserving the complex value-semantic unity of Russian society within the framework of permanent historical upheavals and crises is considered. The importance of the socio-cultural doctrine of Russian state paternalism as a factor of self-identification and survival of civilization is substantiated. The role of Russian dependents in the paradigm of paternalistic dialogue is summarized, and attention is focused on the fact that a violation of the balance of power in the paternalistic dialogue leads to mass unrest, riots, uprisings, and turmoil. The transformation of state paternalism in the Russian cultural and historical space is described. The author uses the methods of a sociocultural approach, a transcommunicative approach and architectonics to establish cause-and-effect relationships between state paternalism and the sociocultural matrix of Russian civilization.
